Table of contents

Our WordPress plugin includes a feature to automatically send your articles as push notifications when they're published, or when they're scheduled to be published.

To use this feature, follow these steps:

When writing an article, you'll have access to a new section called "Notifadz by Adrenalead", which will allow you to choose whether to send your article in push format when it's published or not.

Your notification will be built as follows:

  1. Sending configuration

Check "Yes" to have your article automatically sent when published. Also select the type of device on which you want to push your content.

  2. Choosing a featured image for my article

The featured image you select for your article will be the one used in your push notification.

  3. Use of my article excerpt as notification content (optional)

By default, the content of your push will be that of your article (approximately the first 200 characters). However, if you wish to customize it, you can do so in the "excerpt" section of your article. By doing so, this text will replace the push content.

Once configured, your article will be automatically sent as a push message when published.

<aside> 💡 Good to know: the push notification will be automatically sent when the article is published. If you schedule an article, the push notification will only be sent when the article is scheduled.

You can track the dispatch of your articles in your Notifadz dashboard, in the "Campaign Planning" section, then in the "Planned Campaigns" part, or by following this link.

If your post is scheduled and you've chosen to send it as a push notification, you won't see it in your dashboard until it's actually been sent. This means that if you cancel the publication in WordPress, the push notification will not be sent.
